My girlfriend is probably the most passionate with her work then anyone else I know. She has started to commissions to make a little bit of money even though she doesn't have much time to do it. This leaves her a little stressed out over her piece because she wants them to come out good for the client. She is so commitment to the work because each piece that she makes is a little refection her self and a bit of her self ends up in her work.
The author would like to break down why people have the job that
they have and why they have decided the career that
their in. This idea came for the author meet with his wife's ob-gyn and
seeing how passionate she is about her work. My favorite story was the was the last one with Sharon Long. Her story wasn't that much different then the other's; she had had several job that she did just to make some money to support her family, but in her forties she had decided that she was going to go to college. What really suck out to though; is that Long did not really need to be promenaded to talked about the things that she loved about her job. You could also tell how deeply connected with her work, she talks a bout how she will just stare at a skull to try to figure not just what the person looked like but what there life was like , who they were as a person and then tried to connect to that person.

Hello, I find it interesting you liked Sharon Long's story so much. When I was reading this one I was a little weirded out because she is making "faces" from deceased people for museums. It seems cool but just not my thing if you know what I mean. I also like how you said your girlfriend puts a piece of herself in her work just like Sharon. Keep up the good work.
